Course Overview

The ”It's All About Choices“ Stress Reduction Program is a comprehensive program that incorporates a balance of cognitive learning with stress reduction techniques to help each individual quickly and efficiently minimize the negative effects of stress. This is accomplished through the practice of cultivating moment to moment awareness and helping individuals realize their natural abilities to be calm, relaxed and focused. This technique enables participants to break the cycle of reactivity in their lives and affords them the opportunity to appreciate that there is choice in every moment. With this realization, comes the truth of empowerment and authenticity.

This program provides a complete introduction to building mind/body awareness through relaxation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques. Many exercises are designed to introduce relaxation and life management techniques that can be used at work and in personal life.

Learning / Motivational Objectives

  • Deep relaxation/stress controlling techniques including:
    • Progressive muscle relaxation
    • Conscious breathing
