Development Process

At the foundation of every 3-D ETC immersive training video lies a well thought pre-scripted learning exercise designed to provoke thought and emotion that engages the trainee mentally and emotionally. Developed by a team of psychologists, subject matter experts and writers, the learning scenario will bring the viewer as close to experiencing a real-life event as possible. This emotionally charged, life-like learning opportunity provides for long-term retention of the event and a positive impact on behaviors.

The script is turned over to 3-D ETC's highly skilled stereoscopic production team, where the concept literally comes to life by producing the scenario in High Definition (HD) 3D. Using a pair of HD video cameras, a special stereoscopic mounting rig and a binaural microphone, the production team captures each scenario with as much vivid detail as possible. Filming is done either at a customer location, so that scenario is personally relevant to the participants, or in a studio.

Each scenario is then edited on a special 3D non-linear edit station and produced for stereoscopic 3D viewing on any one of 3D ETC's immersive wearable video display systems.
